Amateur Swimming Association : Online Learning

At last the long awaited first online CPD modules aimed at swimming teachers are available to access. The first is targeted at Level 1 and Level 2 teachers and has been put together by Professor Ross Sanders from Edinburgh University and aims to provide teachers with knowledge to assist in the development of good technique in beginning swimmers. The information is supported by video clips and candidates are required to complete a series of questions on each section.

The completed module is worth 4 points towards the ASA Teacher/Coach Licensing Scheme.

This module is entitled 'The Principles of Good Freestyle' and can be accessed on www.care.ed.ac.uk .
