The ASA Swimming Teaching Conference 2010 is taking place on Thursday 4th March at the Heritage Motor Museum in Warwickshire.
The conference is aimed at Swimming Teachers and Coordinators working on the delivery and improvement of Learn to Swim.
For thos attending tis popular conference, the day-long event will include key note presentations from David Sparkes, ASA Chief Executive, on being a world class teacher and Marc Woods, ex-Paralympic swimmer and motivational speaker.
Delegates will have the opportunity to attend a selection of workshops on a variety of topics includinig:
- Updates on the NPTS and Free Swimming.
- How swimming lessons should look and how to make swimming cool!
- Swim 21 and improving the quality of lessons
- The importance of licensing.
- Teaching swimmers with disabilities and control management for swimmers with challenging behaviour.
Also featured is an inspirational workshop that explores ways of training the brain towards motivational thinking for swimmers.
